What will be your role? 

As a mechanical/energy engineer, you will be involved in the engineering team making developments of engineering including Design, Construction, Mounting and start-up of industrial facilities. Your main contribution will be:

• Generate project specifications, design philosophy, PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals to comply with clients’ requirements.

• Carry out process simulations and develop heat and material balances.

• Carry out process design for reactors, columns, drums, heat exchangers, tanks and develop respective process datasheets.

• Carry out hydraulic design for pumps, compressors, blowers and develop respective process datasheets.

• Conduct or attend P&ID design reviews, HAZOP, IPF, SIL studies, 3D model reviews.

• Prepare design outputs, datasheets, and drawings.

• Support the Construction Team during the construction phase and carry out site checks.

• Support the Commissioning Team during plant or unit startup.

• Coordinate with Project Team and other Department Engineers to facilitate smooth progress of engineering work.

• Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Department Manager.

And… What will make you succeed with us?

• University Degree or Master in mechanical specialties, industrial technologies, industrial systems, electronics, automation, energy, electrical engineering or similar.

• At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in similar positions.

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, both Spanish and English.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Office.

• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

• Capacity for teamwork.

• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.

• Proactive and able to resolve issues.

• Good organizational skills with attention to details.

• Willing to travel and in some cases re-locate to project location.

• Knowledge in Data Centers will be a plus.
